Hey there! I’m Matees, a 34-year-old globetrotter with European roots and a spirit that thrives on adventure. For the past decade, England has been my base, but my journey stretches across Europe and beyond—fueled by motorcycles, misadventures, and a relentless curiosity for life.

Early Years & Education
Born in Romania, I grew up immersed in Europe’s cultural tapestry. My education carried me through France, Italy, and Germany, where I absorbed languages, traditions, and life philosophies. Later, I settled in the UK to study, teach, and discover new horizons—proof that learning never stops at borders.

Motorcycles: A Lifelong Love Affair
At 17, motorcycles became my escape and my rebellion. By 18, I was navigating Italy’s winding roads on my own bike—though three accidents (one severe, but miraculously hospital-free) taught me humility. Life eventually pulled me away from riding as I wandered Europe, but the roar of an engine never left my soul.

Love, Risks, and Reinvention
In my early 20s, I traded throttle twists for heartbeats, diving recklessly into relationships. My intensity led to legal troubles and lost years—a chapter I now own as a lesson in balance. Today, I embrace traditional family values and stand firm in my identity: love, for me, has always been about women. Let’s just say, if you call me gay, prepare to back it up with receipts (spoiler: you won’t find any).

Why I Created Moto World Explorer
During my first Vietnam trip, a stranger filming with his phone asked, “What’s your channel name?” I mumbled “Costa Moto!”—but between my accent, his confusion, and a few too many beers, we both walked away baffled. That moment was a wake-up call: I needed a name as universal as the open road. Moto World Explorer was born.

Is it ambitious? Hell yes. I might never cover 100% of the globe on two wheels, but I’ve already conquered 1%. The remaining 99%? That’s where the magic happens.

Adventures Reborn
In 2022, I reignited my passion with a 30-day motorcycle odyssey across India, my then-girlfriend riding pillion. Together, we braved INDIAN roads, a rogue incident, and endless chaos—emerging with stories etched into our bones.

Vietnam called next. A 2023 solo trip was derailed by a whirlwind romance (some detours are worth the delay). But in 2024, I returned, conquering the country from south to north—proof that persistence always wins.

What’s Next?
Nepal. Indonesia. Thailand. The order doesn’t matter—the thrill is in the unknown. Every mile is a story, every border a new chapter.

Why I Ride
Motorcycles aren’t just machines—they’re freedom, resilience, and the raw joy of carving your own path. Through crashes, wrong turns, and life’s plot twists, I’ve learned: the journey is the destination.
